Last year, scam e-mails (called ''phishing'') were sent out to many of our members, seemingly from Tyndall Federal, but actually from schemers trying to trick you into revealing your personal and secure information. As soon as we were made aware of these ''phishing'' e-mails, we began to bring down these criminal web sites. As an added measure of security, we contracted with a company named ''Cyveillance.'' Their mission is to shut down fraudulent web sites as quickly as possible. They also monitor the Internet for other possible threats to our members. Rest assured, with the added help of Cyveillance, we continue working diligently to minimize the threat of predatory ''phishing'' e-mails.
