What type of loan may I apply for on-line?
Tyndall Federal offers a variety of loans that may be applied for on-line. Here are a few examples:

What basic information will I need to begin my on-line loan application?
We will ask you to provide us with the amount of money you are requesting, the repayment term, and the type of loan for which you are applying. We will also ask for personal, income, and reference information.

What personal information will I be asked to provide?
We recommend you have the following information handy as you complete the application

  • Email Address
  • Social Security Number
  • Birth Date
  • Driver's License Number/State
What type of information will I have to provide about my current debts?
You will be asked to provide us with your current mortgage informaton. We will ask the name of your mortgage company, the monthly payment amount, balance of mortgage, the Annual Percentage Rate of your mortgage loan, and the name of the person responsible for the mortgage payments. (Additional debt information may be verified once your loan application has been reviewed.)

What type of information will you request about my employment and income?

We will ask your employer's name, your job title, the length of time you have been at your current employer, the amount of your income, and any other sources of income you may have. Alimony, child support, or separate maintenance income need not be revealed if you do not wish to have it considered as a basis for repaying this obligation.

Will I have to provide any reference information?
Yes. You will be asked to provide us with the information for two references. References must reside in a different household than the loan applicant. We will request name, address, and phone number for each reference.

Will Payment Protection Insurance be offered on-line?
Yes. You will have the opportunity to add Credit Life and/or Credit Disability Insurance to your on-line loan application.

May I add a co-applicant to my on-line loan application?
You may add a co-applicant (joint borrower) to your loan application. We will ask that the co-applicant provide us with the same information as the primary applicant. In addition to any personal information, we will request employment and income information, debt (mortgage) information, and two references for the co-applicant.

I am a little apprehensive about entering my personal information on-line. Is it secure?
Protecting our members' personal and financial information is a top priority at Tyndall Federal Credit Union. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with Federal regulations and leading industry practices to safeguard your nonpublic personal information. Data on the TFCU servers is secure and protected by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and other types of encryption technology. Once I submit my loan application, will someone contact me? How long will it take?
Yes. You should expect to hear from one of Tyndall Federal's Financial Sales Representatives within 1 business day. First, you will be contacted in the manner specified in the application (phone, email, etc.) to advise you that your loan application has been received and is being reviewed. You will be contacted again within 2 business days regarding your specific loan request.
