    What membership means.
It's what makes us different. It's what makes us special. Here at Tyndall Federal Credit Union, we don't have customers, we have members. In fact, we have member-owners. And we've been a full-service financial institution serving our member-owners since 1956. How? With convenient products and services that offer members superior value. In addition to our Operations Center, we have eight branches, a large ATM network, and on-line services to meet the needs of our members worldwide.

    Who can become a member?
Membership is open to you if you work for or belong to any of the groups shown in what we call our Field of Membership. The Field of Membership includes our core military and government (local, city & state) groups as well as many companies in the Panhandle area of Florida.

In addition, you may be eligible for membership if you live, work, worship, or go to school in Gulf, Walton, Jackson, Bay, Okaloosa, Franklin, Calhoun, Holmes, or Washington Counties.

Find out if you're eligible by reviewing our Field of Membership.

    Does this include my family?
Does your wife need a new car? Does your Grandpa need a lower rate on his credit card? Maybe your mom is looking for a better certificate yield. Or your son is hunting for a new house. Immediate family members and household members of anyone in the TFCU Field of Membership are eligible to join us.

Immediate family members include spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, grandchild, stepparent, stepchild, stepsibling, and adoptive relations. A household member includes any permanent household member living in the same residence and maintaining a single economic unit (Ex:Roommates). Sorry, but this does not include people who live temporarily in a residence (visitors), fraternities, sororities, apartment/condo complexes, or boarding houses.

    How long does membership last?
It's simple. Once you're a member of TFCU, you're always a valuable part of our credit union family. Even if you move out of the area or leave your current employer, your membership with TFCU is still welcome. And you can still take advantage of our convenient services no matter where you are. We offer free Internet Banking, GENIE 24 (our touch-tone telephone system), the Member Service Center, and the Lending Center to make your financial transactions as easy as possible from anywhere in the world.
